Bridal Make Up

So I have most the the big things booked for May 2010...reception site, ceremony site, officeint, DJ, photographer, baker, hair stylist.  (in the process of booking a florist)The salon where I will be have my hair (and bridesmaids hair) done does not do make up.  I have been looking and reading other posts/planning bios concerning make up.I am looking for some one that will travel to my parents house in Newark DE to do my make up.  I called a well known salon on Kirkwood highway, but they gave me the run around and have since not called me back.  Basically they said it would not be "worth it" to travel to do the make up of one person. (I am paying for my bridesmaids hair, but cannot afford to pay thier make up too.  And I don't want them to be required to pay for it.)I know this is long, but does anyone know of a make up artist that will travel to do makeup for one?  (Or perhaps it is truely not finanically worth it for the artist.)Thank you!

    Gloss Salon will do it.  Day of makeup can run about $50-$60 though, but they do a good job.  You can get their contact info in my bio, or you can email them at glosssalonde AT verizon DOT net. I'm using them for both hair and makeup.

    I used Tonia from Ohh La La for my make-up and loved her; however I am not sure how many people are going to travel for just one person. And if they did the cost would be higher. Do your girls not want to get their make-up done?

    john at Gloss is amazing!  He comes to your house and is very easy to work with!  Their salon is on Main St if you want to do a trial!

    I went for a trial with Gloss, and it looked ok, but it was my first time using mineral make up, and it just didnt last on my skin... I went for another trial with Cindy of Dylan Michael Cosmetics, and that lasted much longer for me.  Cindys great - free trial, free lipstick day of for touch ups and I think she did a really nice job.  GL
