question about groom's gift

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with letting me know the rest of this gift. It's the one where you give socks for cold feet, a watch to get there on time etc. If anyone knows the rest of the things that go into that I would really appreciate it! My wedding is in 2 days and I am trying to get some last min things together. Thank you so much!

    I've seen a few versions of this... A compass/map to help him find his way to the ceremony. A 6 pack of his favorite beer, just in case his feet get really cold! :-) Good Luck!!

    Yikes, you just reminded me that I have no idea what I would do for a groom's gift...has everyone on here given one or know what they're getting for one?

    I've given this some thought and it's hard since FI wears a uniform every day and works with his hands so he wouldn't get use out of cuff links which are a common gift.  I have been thinking of getting him a nice watch which he obviously wouldn't wear everyday it's just that he doesn't wear one now, so will he wear one? I know he'd use a round of golf that morning but is it really exciting if he already has a tee time and is planning on paying and his gift is just a certificate for that?  Oooh what about a monogrammed driver or something golfy for him to use that morning...you can tell I'm thinking as I type.  :)  The thing is he enjoys golfing but doesn't do it all that often and says he's not good he just likes getting out with the boys....I'll keep brainstorming.

    capcatchers.com - a bottle opener, engraved with "FI's pub, est. 10.10.09" so he never forgets. I also got him a pair of raiders socks, for the cold feet!

    I actually just got my husband a great card, but we also asked guests to give to charity instead of giving gifts, so I guess we are not the "norm."
