My mom picked out her dress about a month ago and left a deposit. She really liked one dress that was all sparkly (frankly, I thought it was too much) but it was too expensive. Long story short, she decided on a one-shouldered blush chiffon Enzoani Love gown with a black jeweled belt.
I thought it looked good on her but ever since she purchased the dress she has been doubting her decision to get it in the blush because she thinks it will make her look too pale. Also, my dad and her dentist both told her a blush dress would make her look pale...that didn't help. She originally loved the blue but my grandmother and MIL had already chosen blue dresses.
I think she will look beautiful and if anything she can apply some gradual tanning lotion like Jergens Natural Glow. She is the 2nd most anxious person I have ever met and today I snapped at her for being so ridiculously anxious. I'm a problem solver and don't like to dwell on being anxious. She makes me so nervous. Agh... now I feel bad for snapping but she is INTENSE. I don't know what else to do other than wait for it to get in and hope she doesn't regret her decision.
