is this dress proper for a wedding?

    If you're looking for formal I would say no. But for $35 I would buy it just to have!

    I don't mean gown formal, I mean summer wedding in the evening formal/proper.  I do think it's a good price, they also have it listed for 24.99 with free shipping...

    I think I would still say no. Unless it's very casual. What does the invite say?

    I don't think it's formal enough for even a summer wedding, not even a cocktail.  The back side of the dress makes it look really inappropriate for this kind of even, mostly because of the "elastic" looking back.  It reminds me of those pink, terry tube dresses there were in style back in 2007.  But if you have the hots for this dress, the pink/lavender color looks less casual than the yellow one.

    Sorry I would have to agree with the other girls and say it is not appropriate for an evening wedding.

    thanks ladies, I will pass on it for the wedding. I went to Macys today, I bought a French Conection strapless, above the knee lenght for $15, it was originally $223, was on sale for $75 plus 40% off, but at the register it rang-up to $15. Was so happy
