NWR- What should we do in SA this weekend?

Hi Knotties-I popped over from the destination weddings board becuase FI and are going to be in SA for the Green Day concert on Sunday night. I think we'll drive over tomorrow morning (from College Station).What should we do? We've done all the touristey stuff (Alamo, amusement parks, Riverwalk) and want something cool to do and maybe some great resturant recommendations.Thanks so much!

    check out thevineyards dot org it is a quaint little restraunt, very nice and romantic, and GREAT food!! That is where my Fiance took me to propose. You could also check out Gruene, It's always fun to walk around there on a Sunday and check out the little shops.

    I've heard great things about the vineyards. It's sort of hard to say what to do around here considering San Antonio seems to have just a lot of tourist stuff lol. Restaurant wise it really just depends on what you want to eat. You could always check out the spots that Man vs Food went to.

    How about the other missions, not just the Alamo? If your interested in history, those could be cool to tour. If you are into nightlife there are a lot of cool bars downtown or in the Stone Oak area. Or if you are into shopping, I suggest La Cantera. For Mexican food, you could try Rosarios downtown or Mi Tierra. Locals here also love Pasaenos (Italian). All really nice restaurants.

    The Vineyards is a beautiful little restaurant. And a great venue for weddings! ( I had my first wedding there years ago) I also love Gruene!! It is probably one of my favorite places in the world. If you like the Dallas Cowboys, they are still in town for training camp. We went and it was actually really cool! Hope you have a great weekend!!
