Venues That Allow Outside Alcohol

Do any of you out there had any suggestions of venues that allow you to supply your own alcohol?   My FI works for a liquor distributor and the liquor and wine are all being donated, so would really like to work with a place that would accomodate this!   They venue needs to hold at least 150 people.  Thanks!

    We are having our reception at Walter Commons at St. Charles HS and it is also BYOB.  It's a new space built where there used to be a courtyard behind the school.  Tall ceilings, pretty windows, sky light.  Kind of has a feeling of being outside but you're inside. Very elegant.  It can fit over 400 people, but I've seen it set up for 150 people, and the space did not look too big.  I think it has to do with the columns that kind of divide the space.  You just have more room to set up the bars, apps, gift tables, dance floor, etc.  We're going to have about 250.  I can email you pictures if you're interested.

    Bryce Eck Center-- It has a typical ballroom and they allow you to use your own caterer. North Bank Park Pav.  It you tent the patio it should give you enough room for all your guest. I know there are many more but I am drawling blank.  If you pick up a copy of Columbus Bride they normally list all the venues in central ohio and the policy on outside alcohol.

    Our reception was at The Venue @ Smith Bros. and we were able to provide the liquor, beer and wine (saved us a TON of money).  Pictures of the space are in my bios.

    We're using the Jessing Center which required us to use Mass Appeal as our caterer, but it is completely BYOB which is going to save A LOT of money!  It definitely holds 150 people comfortably.  GL!

    Our wedding was at the Olde Gahanna Sanctuary and allowed outside food/alcohol. Not sure if they'll hold that many, but probably could depending on your layout.

    We are getting married at the Taylor Mansion (www.taylormansioncolumbus.com) and they let you do this. But, you have to use their caterer.

    The Greek Orthodox Cathedral allows you to bring in your own alcohol!  They even have a built in bar in their banquet hall....

    The Columbus Athenaeum allows outside alcohol.

    We're having our reception at the New Albany Banquet Facility.  It holds 200 people and they allow outside alcohol. It's very nice - the old Gibby's Restaurant - and you can rent the game room next door, too. And last but not least, the prices are very reasonable.

    The Bryn Du Estate in Granville. You can bring in any vendor or item you want. We saved TONS.
