Wedding Music

Now that the dust has settled, when you look back on your songs, were they perfect?! What did you choose?

I spent a fair amount of time choosing my music, and am SOO happy I did, because I loved every song!

Bridal Party Procession:  Somewhere over hte Rainbow (Hawaiian)
Bride's Procession:  Don't Wanna Miss a Thing (Aerosmith)
Registry Signing:  Is This Love (Bob Marley)
Bridal Party Recession:  I Gotta Feeling (Black Eyed Peas)

Entering Reception:  All Dressed in Love (Jennifer Hudson from SATC Movie)

First Dance:  You'll Never Find (Jah Cure - am from Bermuda so reggae featured heavily in reception music!)

Bouquet Toss:  Single Ladies (Beyonce)

The only song I wished I'd spent more time picking - father daughter dance.  I let my dad pick, and he chose a random jazz song, instrumental, so we had a fun dance (he was twirling me all around the place!)  but there wasn't really any meaning to the music chosen!  It doesn't really matter, but I wouldn't recognise the song if I heard it again, and whenever I hear any of the others, I start smiling and remembering how much fun my wedding was!

Re: Wedding Music

  • Bridal Party Procession:  Canon in D
    Bride's Procession: Trumpet Voluntary
Bridal Party Recession:  Bridal March Mendelsohn
Bridal Party Reception- I got a feeling Black eyed peas
Entering Reception:  Be without you mary j blige

First Dance:  I wanna love you forever Jessica Simpson
    Bouquet Toss:  Single Ladies (Beyonce)
I wouldn't change anything.  I am happy with my classical choices for the church.  It felt very regal walking down the aisle.  The reception entrances were also a lot of fun
