Beach Locations...help please.

Help Please!!! Does anyone know of where you can get married in OC (or just outside of OC) on the beach, or near it, that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm not really into the cruises. We are on a budget and I don't want to blow my whole budget on the location... Oh yeah, I’m new to the board and getting married in September of 2010. Thank you in advance for the help. T

Some friends of mine married at Crescent Bay Park in Laguna Beach. It's a small park overlooking the ocean and is relatively secluded. Heard they paid like $250 for the permit.

I second Crescent Bay...it's gorgeous, and the view is breathtaking!  It's only $250, but it's a small place (I think it holds 50 people) and you can't have chairs (they don't want holes in the grass).  But it is beautiful!

Congrats,I'm new to the board as well. Im actually getting married 2 months after you. I've been doing some research with herecomestheguide magazime/web. The only place that I can up with so far are:Harborside Restaurant and Grand Ballroom: $30-(package; menu doesn't look to appetizing though)The Grand Newport Plaza: $49-per person (package)If your willing to extend your search:Queen Mary:  $39- per person. The Reef: $57- per person (pack)There are a lot of places with beach view but the prices start at around $75 per person.Newport Beach Marriot: $81Hyatt Regency Newport Beach: $70 Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort: $65 plus extra $4 per head for cake cutting, parking is $12- dollars per car...ouch!!!Since there wasn't to many places that really fit into my budget, I also started considering places with pools and lakes.  That way, after your ceremony you can take pictures at your reception site before the party.  Prices are a lot more reasonable.Seacliff Country Club: $49- per person (package)Westridge Golf Club: $40- per person(package)Coyote Hills Golf Club: $47- per person (package)I've been doing a little too much research and can't decide where to start.Confused, angel
