YAY!  It's my last day of work until Tuesday so I am very happy.  However, I HATE going to school on April Fool's Day with elementary aged kids-everything's a joke.  It's going to be a long day....
  The weather was beautiful yesterday so FI and I took a nice long walk.  We are looking forward to Easter in Pittsburgh at my parent's house.  Followed by counseling with the minister and getting the tuxes on Monday!

    Good Morning, and Happy April Fool's Day! I don't play practical jokes, nor do I ever have them played on me, so I think I'm pretty safe today. I'm really, really looking forward to having off tom. and to seeing my parents- I haven't seen my mom since last year (Christmas). It was hard to get up earlier this morning, but at least I quit at 4- there probably won't be many people here today, let alone still here from 4-5.

    Good Morning!!

    We had a great night last night! We had dinner at Legal Seafood as a 'celebration' meal - it was DELICIOUS! Speaking of Sangria - theirs is absolutely amazing!!! Then we walked around the mall. FI got 2 AMAZING suits for his new job! He looked SO good in them :) He also got a ton of new shirts and ties... it was so much fun picking out all of his clothes!! He got one suit from Macy's - they were having an amazing suit sale yesterday - and another from Nordstrom...

    Well, I think I might be the only person in the world who doesn't have off tomorrow :( boo - I'm still taking a 1/2 day to catch my flight home. My flight is scheduled for 3:35 but there is a 1:50 flight that looks wide open so I might try to get there a bit early and get on standby and get home a bit earlier... we'll see what happens!

    Heather - GL with those crazy kids on April Fools day!! Safe travels home for Easter!
    Kim - Safe travels home too!! I LOVE when the office is empty!! It's always so peaceful!!

    Thanks, G, though I am actually staying in DC. My parents are coming to visit, since I don't have a lot of time off (can't take Monday b/c boss is already off). I have no idea when I'll get back to PA...the way it looks now, it won't be until Thanksgiving, but who knows.

    Kim - aww that stinks - well, at least you get to see your family!! yay for that!! :) And I hear you on the 'no time off' deal... I'm the same way -I even have to work tomorrow :( I don't have off monday either so I have to leave Pittsburgh late sunday night... oh well - at least I get to see my family too!! :)

    Good Morning all!

    I ditched my friends last night and got a mani/pedi instead! I love this place I go to, they are cheap, super clean and they give you free champagne. YUM! Today, my awesome recess week continues with a long lunch with a few coworkers at Don Pablos then some Target shopping. I am having friends over for Easter, so I wanted to buy cute little easter baskets and some candy for them.

    I am also not off tomorrow, but hopefully, I can leave early. My friend who just came back from South Africa and I are going to have some cocktails on a patio somewhere in the city. I am very excited for the weekend! It cannot come soon enough.

    GMC- Thank you for your awesome step-by-step instructions, I have successfully updated my siggy! Yay! Have a safe flight!

    Kim- I hope you have fun with your family! Do you guys have anything exciting planned!

    Marburs- NEXT MONTH!!! HOLY MOLY!!! WOO HOO!

    I'm taking them to see the cherry blossoms tomorrow, shopping on Sat. (I spring/summer clothes, and my parents are going to buy me some as a belated b-day gift), then church and dinner on Sun.

    J- Where is this perfect-sounding salon you go to? My first, and only, mani-pedi was for my wedding. Not that I'd want to go all of the time, but it would be a nice treat once in a while. And you can't beat free champagne!

    Kim- In DuPont, Mimosa. A mani/pedi is $39, which with two glasses of champagne, isn't a bad deal at all!

    Kim-Have fun with your parents!
    GMC- I love shopping for FI and my brother-it's so much fun dressing them up!  I'm glad he found a lot of suits.  That stinks you have to work tomorrow-hopefully it'll be quiet for you!

    Sara- I can't beleive you are so close!  That's awesome!

    J-Manis and Pedis are so fun!  I had a pedicure this weekend and they give out mimosas-makes it just even more amazing!  I love your cake inspiration-so pretty:-)

    FYI-the jokes have been coming.  According to the kids I've had everything from a pickle to glue on my head today-thank goodness there's no school tomorrow!

    Today is my Friday as well - yay!  :)  Looking forward to the weekend this week (ok, month) has been pretty brutal!

    A mani/pedi with champagne sounds divine!  :)
