We got married at the farmington club which is owned by the same people. It was fabulous and the food at both places is phenominal! The only thing that I don't like about the turf is that it's like a wedding factory Hth

never been there, but went to a wedding at the farmington club, which is a sister venue...food was vrey good(too much as usual!), and i got the fish, since i was warned they come around to the tables with the beef for seconds for everyone, so that was good as well

Their grounds are beautiful and make for some awesome pictures, They've been in business for a long time and have it down to a science. Food is good quality too and they even offer seconds/doggy bags to your guests. I booked with Farmington Club (owned by the same people). It's in a more convenient area for me and they only have one wedding at a time in their building which for some reason was a big deal to me...I didn't want a wedding going on in the room next to me I guess!

We are getting married October 3rd at the Aqua Turf (Wagon Room).  We absolutely LOVE it there and they do everything impeccably.  They have been wonderful to work with and I've never heard a bad thing about them.  If you have any questions, let me know.

I have to agree with Mandy...beautiful place, even better service but the place is swamped with weddings. If you do not mind that then go for it! It is an awesome place! The only thing I was not feeling (I was in a wedding there last May) was that the bridal suite was extremely small for a larger BP & the BP next to us was bumping into the pull out wall inbetween us! I cannot rave enough about the exceptional service!!!

I definitely know what people are saying.  They can have up to 4 weddings there at one time.  We didn't really like the Kay Pier South or North because you would basically have to share space with whoever was in the other one.  Besides the fact that we loved the style of the wagon room, it's set away from the other rooms, which was really nice.

AquaTurf is my venue as well for our May 22 2010 wedding. We are having our ceremony in the Chapel that is on the grounds on Saturday at 11:00 am and then our reception follows in the Wagon Room from 11:30 - 5:00. There may be other receptions happening in other rooms, but that's fine with me since we're the only ones with the chapel reserved for the morning and daytime receptions are less popular, it seems, than evening receptions. They are known for their wonderful service and the food is awesome. My good friend had her wedding there and it was my first experience with them. There is a reason they are so popular with CT brides.

We are getting married there as well. Heard great reviews about the food. We fell in love with the Wagon room.Only negative thing we found is that they aren't negotiable like other venues, but I'm sure in the end, it will be worth it!

I went there and just checked it out. The grounds were great. I likes the Wagon room. The only concern is the minimum head count. I see some of you said they are not really negotiable. I am hoping they somewhat lower the head count.  We have other venues to check out but a min of 200 people is crazy! Well at least for me. I wonder what their minimum is for daytime weddings. We are having it in the fall so Im thinking foliage pics might be better in the afternoon.
