Reasonable Prices for Seating, Tables etc. ?

Hi fellow brides,

I am trying to find a vendor to rent chairs (preferably white), some tables, and possibly a tent as out wedding is outside in January (Central CA, so there is a chance it could be beautiful weather)...

I've gotten quite a few price lists, but I'm not sure what is reasonable, and what is ridiculous. What's a reasonable cost per chair? per table? for a small-ish (backyard wedding) tent?

Any help is appreciated!

I am having mine in seattle, wa and have found chairs ranging from $1.60-2.80. As far as tables, I believe the 6-8 person ones I have looked at are about $12 each. Tents get a little more complictated, obvioulsy the bigger you get the more money. But I'm looking at a 20'x30' roughly and it looks to be about $600-800. Hope that helps!

It varies by location. I found some in the bay area that were $1.80-3.00 each chair. I ended up renting them from a little mexican store that sells pinatas. Their prices were $0.75 each chair. but, they don't have big elaborate tent setups. Just basic white chairs and a canopy here & there.

I found a great site that helps you find rentals and compare prices. It is www.rentalcompare.com You can put in the item you are looking for (ex: chairs or tent) and your location and then all the possibilities and vendors will pop up. It's easy to pick the ones you like, ask the vendors directly for more information. I found it to be a huge time saver!
