Place card ideas??

Hi - Can anyone provide me with some Cape inspired place card ideas??? I have seen the starfish, sand dollar and boat ideas. I wanted to see if anyone could provide me with any other ideas. Thank you!!!!

    I saw a cute one on here a while back, I wish I had the pic. The cards were tied to lobster lollipops with ribbons, then they were all in one of those big tin bucket/bin things filled w/sand.

    I like the idea of combining your favors and escort cards into one...  another nautical theme idea I've seen is little bottles (as in "message in a bottle").  And I've seen scallop shells that were painted, then had the names written on.  I think that was in an old Martha Stewart Wedding magazine.

    I love the idea of having your place cards as your favor too which is why I am searching for ideas from fellow knotties. These ideas are helpful - thank you!

    I toyed with the idea of little mini andirondak chairs (sp?) that double as a photo holder when people are done with them.  Seen a few different styles, if you just google them....

    I am going with the adirondack chair holders. They have a space for a tealight candle. We are going to put an LED tealight in them. I am planning to make a mini beach to hold them all, if feasible. We chose them because there is a funny vacation story in family around the chairs.

    My wedding planner, Connie Nye Clark of The Perfect Plan referred me to Jen from Dulce Press, she is very creative and does invitations, favor cards, table numbers and such..www.dulcepress.com. Maybe it was one of Connie's designs with the lollipops as I have seen that in her portfolio.  She is designing a ribbon board for me to put all my placecards on.  Give Jen a call she has been awesome.
