AW: Bachelorette Party recap

I thought I'd recap the weekend and all of the OCMD girls might be able to get something out of this post as well. The weekend was beautiful. We were on the beach for a few hours on Friday and relaxed on the boardwalk that night. We ate at a place called "Shenanagins" and it was great bar-type food. Good prices and lots to choose from. We got a case of beer that evening and put a pretty good dent in it before we went roaming down the boardwalk. When we got back we sat on the porch of our hotel "The Majestic" which is a typical beach hotel but great air conditioning and clean rooms. It also has a rad porch filled with rocking chairs that overlooks the beach. We spent the remainder of our night rocking, drinking and smoking cigars. Nice and relaxing. After the night was through, I was a bit drunk and decided it was time to wack the willy. I was not successful in retrieving the candy inside. The next day we spent on the beach until it became a little overcast around 4. We decided to come in early and get an early start on the night. We got ready and went to a place called "The seaside Grill". It was OK. I had a salad with fruit and Mahi-mahi which was good but nobody else really liked their food. It was on 16th street and we weren't big fans of the watered down coffee and bad service as well. After this we went to this place called "BJ's" on 77th which was awful. People were so rude and we couldn't find the outside deck bar. We then moved on to "Macky's" on 54th street. We got a great table outside on the deck and drank "fun buckets" all night that were $22.00 but they were filled with alcohol. We only bought two and were all pretty drunk. I can't say enough about this place it was so much fun. The waitress even brought me a blow job shot in my engagement ring shot glass. Something most bars would never do. They also gave out free shots all night long. I must have had three or four free shots. They had dancing around 11 and it was a blast. Even the bouncers were into it, I got a lot of shout outs from the DJ and a free T-shirt.  I also got to dance on the bar for a second. It was awesome!!! After that (at 1pm) we went next door to Seacrets and I personally hated every second of it. We were charged $10.00 to be there for 1 hour by a rude staff. I then waited 15 minutes to pee in the 1 stall bathroom. This place was hot, dirty, packed tight with people and overpriced. It was a big meat market tourist trap. Many people like it a lot, but it just wasn't for me. I wish I had stayed at Macky's. The next day we ate a the "Bayside Skillet" on 77th street and I highly recommend it you love big omelets, fresh OJ, and fruit crepes. Big servings, fast service and delicious food. I hope this helps and I hope everyone enjoys the photos that I'll post in a minute.

Sounds like you had a blast! I wish I could get away from work long enough for a Bachelorette weekend!! P.S I LOOVE BAYSIDE SKILLET!! We used to vacation down there every year when I was little and when I was asked where I wanted to go I would reply "The strawberry place" (I don't know if it does now but it used to be pink and red and have strawberries painted on the building)

I was looking on the trash to treasure board last night and saw a Red Sox garter that made me think of your siggy pic ... not sure if you're doing the garter thing, but just and FYI. I think it was $5  :)
