in Second Weddings
Do understand correctly that you live in atlanta and were a detective of some sort.  I may call upon you for some help after FI talks to the mother of his daughter tonight. When he talked to her he said she sounded strung out.  She is some where near Conyers, Ga. I am worried about the daughter. You could possibly point me in the right direction.

    I do live in Atlanta--I was a VD investigator, but typically we can find people that the FBI can't find, because we can get into places they can't, and we're trained in HOW to ask the questions.  My skills are rusty--I haven't been on the streets in 10 years, but I can do a littl cursory research for you, and I know of a couple of good PIs here.

    We are still trying to figure things out this woman is something else.  I will let you know if I need the PI info.  I have a feeling we are going to be going to Atlanta in a Month or so.  We think that she is using.  Not sure but she sounds spun.  Story changes every time he talks to her. I wanna bang my head agianst the wall!

    Conyers is a strange mix of rural and trailer trash, from the little I've seen of it.  Let me know if you need those referrals.

    This woman just from hearing her talk to him on the phone is trailer trash.  Doesn't work when he met her she was working for a temp company that they had hired when he lived down there. The mother of the woman never worked either sponged of the grandmother that passed away last year. We knew that because of searching online.  We are taking it one day at a time. She is a mess and sounds like she is using but we aren't sure. I think a PI might be a good thing but have to talk to him about it first. Also wondering if we should call a state agency to see if anything has been filed agianst this woman.

    I'm not sure if DFACS would release any info about the mom to anyone else, but maybe they would release any info about his daughter to him.  There's a difference.  I'm also wondering if he called DFACS and explained that she sounded like she was high or drunk (slurred words, not making sense, getting lost in the middle of thoughts, etc.) if they would do a check.  I'm not sure how backed up they are--there's been a bunch of publicity about DFACS and some issues here, so I just dont' know.  And fortunately, I've not had much dealing with them.

    I am gonna get the info for them today figured I would look it all up while here at work and have him give them a call tomorrow.  He wants to get the daughters social so he can put her on his insurance and she won't even give him that. I told him that we have to be able to get it. Told him we need to apply for a copy of her birth certificate as well. I have never had to deal with all of that as well. They call it CPS here and I have never really dealt with them either.

    Yes, it's DFACS here Department of Family and Child Services.  Good luck--I'll be keeping everyone in my thoughts for a positive outcome.
