Hi Knotties!! I'm 5 days away from becoming a Mrs. and we had our ceremony music rehearsal, but I wanted to change the song for the recessional. As of now, we have "The Wedding March" (which I ALWAYS hated) and I really would love to use Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" (aka "9th Symphony"). My soloist feels it's too "Easter-like" (it is used during Lenten and Advent season, I believe) and it doen't have enough 'pomp and circumstance'. Since it's a Catholic nupital mass and 98% of my guests are Jewish, they're not going to notice. I really love "Ode to Joy" and it brings a smile to my face, so I want to use it. Opinions needed on this one!
