Wed Clean

I know there has been posts about this before?  For those of you who have done gown perservation, did you use Wedclean?  If not, who did you use?  Do you recommend them?  Any problems??I'm just scared to mail my dress off somewhere and for it to never come back but it really needs to get cleaned and I like the idea that it is put in a box for you.  Also, when you got it back, did you take it out to see if it really got cleaned all the way?  DH made a comment today about how they probably only clean the part you can see in the box and leave the rest dirty.  So I'm just leary but the dress needs to be cleaned!!  Thoughts??

I just dropped mine off at alexia gavella today. They send it off to a Wedding Preservation Comapny. I forget the official name. It was the same company that did my mothers. If you open it - it will no longer be preserved, and will eventually turn yellow. The whole point of putting it in a box is that they use a special 'something' that keeps it from yellowing and aging. Once, you open it - it's no longer good. I would call AG and find out the company they use. They said they've used them forever and were extrememly happy. They said I should get it back in about 3 months.
