I want to get a cute theme cake for our rehearsal dinner, but I'm not familiar with the area.Does anyone know any bakeries that could do a cute theme cake (I'm thinking Redsox or something) in the Southbury/Oxford area? TIA

    She isn't near you, but Donna from Creative Cakes by Donna in Haddam could definitely do that. We drove nearly an hour to taste her cakes and are glad we did.     We just had a tasting from Tidmarsh cakes in Ansonia-which is right in your area.  On the website it shows various themed cakes.  We tried the marble cake and the carrot cake....both delicious!  Good luck!http://www.tidmarshs.com/

    I went to Big Y in Ansonia and they did a photocake for me.....well for DH

    if you like ice cream cake you can get a blizzard cake from DQ with a redsox logo on it i bet friendlys would do it too

    Hmmm the ice cream cake is a good idea!! And I might check out Big Y - is Ansonia far away?Donna is doing our wedding cake....I need someone in the area so that I can pick it up or have it delivered to the rehearsal dinner place.

    this may sound tacky but im a budget bride, your local grocery store may be able to make the cake you want like bigy and stop&shop doesnt hurt to look
