Nose ring??

For the brides who have nose rings are you going to keep it in or take it out for the wedding. I'm thinking about keeping it in and just wanted to see what other brides are doing. I have a tiny diamond nose stud and i love it , but will it be consider tacky for the wedding or in the photos?

    If you always wear a nose stud and that's what people are used to, then I'd say keep it in! No need changing loads about how you look on your wedding day... you want to be able to recognise yourself in your photo's.I have a ring in my tragus and I'll always wear it. I had to take out all my other piercings when I started working in more acute psych wards some years ago, but I like having a little reminder left. It'll definitely be staying in on my wedding day.

    Ha, it never occurred to me to take my diamond nose stud out.  I am struggling more with glasses or not :)  I say leave it in.  Besides wouldn't you rather have that then a hole for photos?

    I dont have my nose pierced but if it is a part of your everyday life, dont take it out. You dont want to be someone different on your wedding day. As for the glasses, I have them but I didnt wear the for the ceremony or pictures. I actually forgot to out them on after my make-up. I never noticed that they were off.

    Iagree , it is a part of me and i do love it ! A few of my prissy friends have asked me " are you really going to keep that in your nose for you big day?' i'm starting to wonder if these ladies really are my friends..lol there are not any of my braidsmaids thank goodness.

    Why on earth wouldn't you?  Check out offbeatbride.com for tons of pictures of pierced and tattooed brides who look just gorgeous.  While you're there, check out her discussion of the word "tacky," too.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married.
