Great & Reasonable Florists

Can anyone recommend a wonderful florist that offers reasonable prices? I've come across some great folk but since they specialize in weddings, they seem to want to eat up my entire budget! I'm looking to spend around $150-200 max on the bridal bouquet and $100-150 for the bridesmaids. Basically bang for your buck, simple, elegant flowers; roses, peonies. Nothing exotic...aiming for the vintage/chic look Any advice would be awesome! I'm not from Austin but getting married there and running completely blind! Any help much appreciated!

donna foster with central market!! Her prices and flowers are awesome. I know a lot of girls on here use glass fountain but I was never able to get them to return my e-mails.

Wild Poppy. Awesome, awesome, awesome florist. Probably my favorite vendor next to my caterer.

I'm using Melanie from The Last Petal, she was really great about staying in my (relatively tiny) budget and still managing to incorporate my favorite flowers.

I totally second Melanie Tipton with Last Petal.  My bouquet was $175 and my bm's were $60 and I had a tone of different flowers - two colors of roses, orchids, hydrangea, and calla lillies.  IMO my flowers could not have been more awesome.  Melanie was great to work with and does awesome work.

The Glass Fountain has the best prices by far IMO. We are using them for our reception flowers.

Ditto the Glass Fountain.  IMO it was the best price I found, her flowers were amazing, and she went above and beyond what I asked.  Full review is in bio.

Bouquets of Austin were great vendors and I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and service we got. Specifically, I worked with Becky.

Ditto for Donna Foster with Central Market.  She saved me 50 - 66% off what other local area florists were quoting me in 2006.  Her flowers were gorgeous, plus she supplied me with more flowers than the other florists were quoting me on.

Another vote for the Glass Fountain. Rebekah did an awesome job, was there EARLY, and the flowers were gorgeous. I got married outside in July and our flowers held up just fine (for days after, in fact, even w/o being in water). She's the bomb dot com

I would HIGHLY recommend Susan Pascoe with Callas Flowers. She works out of the Austin Carriage House downtown with several other wedding vendors. She is extremely reasonable and will cater to your budget. I have not gotten married yet, but have enjoyed working with her so far and her photos show that she has some really GREAT work. I checked out several other florists. She was even able to top HEB pricing for the same arrangements. Central Market was a little overpriced for me and Bouquet of Austin was way out of the question. The $1200 we have spent with Callas will be well worth it! Check it out: http://www.callasflowers.com/
