Poll: Plans for wedding money?

Many people love to give money as a gift to the Bride and Groom.What do you all plan to do with that money or what would you like to do with the money?

    Since everything will be paid off and we will be completely debt free, I think we might use it towards granite countertops in the kitchen or hard wood floors on our top floor. We may also buy any of the gifts left on our registry.

    I think we will be paying off the unexpected (but greatly needed) Front Loading washer and dryer we purchased about a month ago...before the no interest period runs out!! We were going to buy them after the Wedding with the wedding money...but couldn't pass up a fantastic deal! So kinda sad our wedding moolah is already spent but oh well!

    Replenishing my bank account from all of the wedding expenses!!  For the most part, the parents are just giving us money as a wedding gift rather than paying for certain things... so for right now, I'm paying for everything. Once the bank account is back, it's going to be down payment money for a house!

    paying off the credit card we got for all of this before 0% interest runs out, then beginning our emergency fund with any left overs.

    We're putting any money we get into our house.  We'll be debt free from the wedding (honeymoon included) so any extra money we get we'll be using it for hardwood floors, new mattress and even saving it.  It will be nice to be able to invest in our biggest investment!  hehe

    We took some of the cash we received on our honeymoon and used it as spending money.  The rest we used whenever we went out to eat or something nice after we got home.We deposited all our checks into a savings account.  We're planning to use it to take a trip for our 1 year anniversary.

    We paid for the honeymoon and the rest is in the bank for house savings.

    We will probably just save it for something that we need or really want in the future. At least I hope we can manage to save it! :)

    We are hoping to be close to debt free here soon (buying a home and getting the first time tax payer credit).  I think we would put it into savings and start building a big savings fund for when maybe we want kids etc???  I'd really like to get new furniture though!!  :)

    We are remodeling our bathroom, which is really in need of some updating and a new tub (we will probably end up in the basement some day soon if we don't remodel it soon) and then we will be finishing our basement with carpeting and ceilings.  I am not sure how much money to expect for our wedding.  My cousin got married in October and had almost 200 guests and they received about $4000.  Almost all of our registry items have been purchased already for the shower and we are having 300 guests at the wedding, so I think we are hoping for a bit more than $4000.  But, honestly any little bit will help us out with our "projects" and we will be thankful for any!
