Hi Everyone,

I am new to the board. I just got engaged on March 10, but I was on here before because I am so excited to be marrying my love. I know NOTHING about wedding planning, so I will probably have many questions.

    Hi there and welcome! Don't let wedding planning overwhelm you! You have plenty of time. Enjoy being engaged. It flies by, trust me!!!

    What have you started so far, if anything? 

    I would suggest sitting down with your FI and figuring out what you two want and can afford. Make sure you are on the same page about everything before you tell your friends/family of your plans. Don't rely on ANYONE to pay for ANYTHING until you have the cash/check. in. hand. I speak from experience! But yeah, the size/feel of your wedding will determine soooo much. The larger your GL (guest list) the more you will spend on food, drink, invitations, tables, centerpieces, favors, etc.
