I need your help, ladies.

This Friday Im re-shooting my engagement pictures with our new photographer Gregory Paul (http://www.gregorypaulblog.com/).

I'm having make up and hair done at Fresh Beauty Studio, which is in Ft. Lauderdale.

From then, I'd drive to the location. We are going for the city look in a nice street and then the beach (we'll get wet this time - woo!) I have narrowed it down to three places:

Las Olas Boulevard.
Time to get there from FBS: 15 minutes, according to Google Maps.

Anybody been here? I love the beach, but I haven't seen the actual streets with cafes and shops.

Worth Avenue in Palm Beach.
Time to get there from FBS: 51 minutes, according to Google Maps.

I love Worth Avenue, through & through, and the access to the beach would make it the perfect location ... if it weren't for the drive.

The Walk on University Drive.

Time to get there from FBS: 34 minutes, according to Google Maps.
This place has sentimental value. It's 10 minutes away from my house, and Craig & I have our memories here. However, take in account it's 20 minutes away (maybe 30) from the beach. The drive, the drive.

I think the logical choice would be Las Olas, right? I just need everybody's 2 cents, I'd like to hear what you think :)

Aww yay you are gonna LOVE nikol! tell her I said HELLO and see her on SAT!!

Las Olas is RIGHT THERE. They have cool shops but not big named stores like worth ave has, more like unique boutique shops and cafes. there is this place on las olas where you can rent gondolas!

When we talked on the phone my first reference was "Alissa (LastName), she's getting married at PGCC!" lol. I went with her because of you, Poppy! :3

I don't mind the big name boutiques, as long as the streets have a clean, cute feel to it, you know? I love Worth Avenue because the streets are narrow (no traffic!) and everything is so clean and pretty. I don't know if I'm explaining myself. Probably not, lol.

las olas has cute narrow streets, some great old fort lauderdale charm and a ton of personality but cars are constantly driving by.

I just shot my e-pics at Riverwalk and the beach. We drove down Las Olas to get to the beach and it was nice. I think it would be nice.

Jenn, Las Olas is where my e-pics were taken. We took them on a Sunday and were able to take pics crossing the street and got a really cool one with the sun trolley driving past. There are tons of cool little hidden alleys. We literally just walked up and down the street and took whatever shots struck my photog. You can check some more of them out on my facebook.

I think Las Olas is great! I took my FI there for his birthday this year and we thought it was really cute!  Be careful though, someone mentioned a gondola ride and I just want to let you know that the restaurant that offered the gondola rides no longer does because it went out of business.  :(  I tried to get one for my FI and I while we were there and they told me the gondola company couldn't handle the recession. Either way, there's lots of cool shots at Las Olas!

Jen we took our pics on Worth Ave and the beach. Then again it was August at 8 am.

I think Worth has a totally different feel than Las Olas. I love how Las Olas is very eclectic, but it will be busy. Worth is very historic and almost has that Italian feel.

I like to think of it this way. Your wedding pics will be done at the Breakers, which is so similar to the feel of Worth Ave. Why not mix it up and go with Las Olas?
