Wedding Album

Well, my photographer basically screwed me and now I don't have an album!  Does anyone know of any area photographers that could make me an album?

Did your photographer give you the cd and the release letter with it?  If so, you could probably find someone else in town to help you make a album.

Jodi Schlosser does albums as long as you have a copyright to your pictures. www.life-in-print.com is her album company. www.jodischlosser.com has pictures of the albums as well

Who was your photographer?  I'd like to avoid them if they are screwing people!

i kandi photography makes awesome albums. They are very nice and are lay-flat albums so the pictures lay flat and she also can do panoramics. She showed us several samples. They arent very cheap, but worth every dime IMO. Her email is ikandiphotography.com if you want to contact her

If you own the copyrights, Heather Gregory at Shutter Happy Studios does gorgeous albums at pretty reasonable prices on her contract.  I don't know if they would be the same for brides she didn't photograph or not, but you could try her.  http://www.shutterhappystudios.com

My husband and I didn't read our contract too well and found ourselves in a similar situation, where we would have to either pay a lot extra for the album that we wanted, or end up with an album we didn't like. We went to Ravetta Photography to see if they would make the album for us, and they quoted us nearly $1000, and that was with us providing the prints! Apparently it's a lot more expensive if you don't have a package deal.So we are making the album ourselves (we bought the right and CD from out original photographer). Check out this website, http://www.weddingalbumsandmore.com, for the album and mattes. It will cost us between $500-$600 to do it, and we are actually having a lot of fun going through the photos and creating this together.Hope that helps! Good luck!
