  • The Lithe Method Studio has opened up on the Mainline so I am hoping a LivingSocial deal pops up but even it if doesn't I plan on taking a few classes to help get bikini ready for my Miami Trip in July. I joined a tennis group and a walking/running group. This weekend will be the first time I'll be "walking" lol with that group, hopefully I'll work my way up to running pretty soon...

  • That's awesome on joining those groups, Bliss. I think sometimes having other people to exercise with is really motivating. I have a more difficult time going alone.

    Yesterday was my last PT session... I can go back to the gym, I just have to be careful about how much weight I lift. I may go back today and do a light arm workout, to see what my shoulders can handle. I'm in moonshine's wedding in a little over 2 months, I need to tone my arms.

    I started the Pilot's diet last monday and so far lost 6lbs.  Woohoo! Go me! :)
    As of today, I have 30 days til our wedding so I want to fit me dress which at my last fitting, I was told it had to be taken out at the bust area.

    Oh also, to BlissPhilly, I used to go to pilates at the LitheMethod that was in old city.  I loved Lauren.  She is a great instructor.

    Thanks...I'm trying to get it together lol, I love being outside so I figured I should enjoy doing those activities can't wait for the pounds to fall off...
    That's good that you're all done with PT! I didn't know you ladies knew each other IRL...Neat!

    I haven't  met Lauren yet. I did Immersion in the Rittenhouse Studio and I've taken a class in Northern Liberties...I'm so glad they open the new Mainline Studio it's so much closer to me. It's my goal to take 3 classes a week for a month...wish me alot of luck LOL... Now I'm going to google "pilot's diet" lol

  • I lost about 40 lbs last year and would still like to lose a few more before the wedding.  I exercise at home by riding my stationary bike, pilates, and yoga. More than anything I want to tone my arms..  I recently added push-ups to my routine too. Hoping it does the trick!

    I've been training (half-assedly) for the Broad Street run, which is this weekend.  Tonight I am trying yoga for the first time to get myself stretched out for the run.  Hopefully I don't pull anything!!
  • I need all the motivation you guys can give. I just had a burger and fries from City View and it was soooo dang gone good. Lawd help me LOL.
