Venue Ideas Needed!!

Hi ladies! I am brand new to the Knot! Just recently engaged, and trying to get planning! I have looked around here and it seems like everyone is so helpful! I can't wait! So I thought I had my venue all taken care of in a really cool house in Cavecreek, but the owners of the place are backing out on me! :( They no longer love the idea of having 100 people on the property. Can anyone think of a venue where I can bring on my own non-licensed caterer/bar/cake? We are really looking forward to doing a bunch of stuff ouselves and are on a budget..... Thanks! Julie

The secret garden in Phoenix lets you purchase your own alcohol and bring it in - i think you need to use their bartender but purchasing the alcohol you want will save a ton of money and if I remember correctly you can choose any licensed vendor for everything else (and I don't remember them being too expensive for the facility).

I'm looking for somewhere that allows non-licensed catering, too. I sent out a vendor request on WeddingWire.com and got a reply from the Manor at Catlin Court. It's in Glendale, which is farther than I wanted to drive from my downtown Phoenix ceremony, but it might be good for you. I haven't called to confirm that they allow non-licensed caterers, but they did respond to my request! If you find any other non-licensed caterer-friendly venues, please let me know! I'll be watching this thread. :)
