Hi everyone! I'm contacting DJs today, but I'm wondering what is the typical DJ price in this area? We're actually saving a bunch of money on our photographer so I'm not super worried about DJ prices persay, but FI and I were originally planning on doing our own music so I'm going to have to change his mind.Also, I am kind of confused... My ceremony and reception are in the same room. Does it make sense that the DJ I hire for the reception could play the ceremony music? I don't want or need a live band for the ceremony as we're having a very short one (20min max), so I'm guessing that we just give the DJ the songs and he plays them with his equipment? I just am not sure what the norm for this situation would be, as I guess its not a super normal situation anyway, lol.
