    One more check for the wedding - we booked the DJ last night and we LOVE him!!Things are moving along on the house hunting front, we are meeting with the real estate agent on Friday to start looking so hopefully that goes well.

    Wedding is 17 days away, and I'm paying the vendor bills this week. Yay! It'll be nice when that is all done and we can focus on the day instead of being stressed over money!

    I am currently watching the most adorable 9-month-old baby girl sleep.  I think I might steal her.  Hehe.FI has a job interview this Friday.  *fingers crossed* We might actually be getting a house soon.  *fingers crossed X2*We leave for Sun River, Oregon on Saturday.  We will be there for 4 days.  We NEED a mini-vacation.  We plan on rafting, canoeing, biking, hiking and relaxing without a schedule.

    I am flying back to Chicago for my bachelorette party this weekend! I wanted to wear a nice dress for it. I will also be wearing this dress to my FMIL's wedding in Sept and also my engagement party. I have tons of black dresses and wanted something of a different and colorful and....I wanted it to be one-shoulder.  I found one online and it shipped to my house...but it was too small. So, after an hour of scouring the Stanford Mall, I found the perfect dress. So...i am very happy.

    Getting married on Saturday tops all of the above!  Congrats!!! I am 3 weeks away and still have a bunch to do, but I am starting to let go of the stress.  It will all happen whether I want it to, or not! I thought I would not be having a bachelorette party at all, but now I have 2 to choose from, so that's a nice surprise!

    My 'Bridezilla' tanktop that I ordered weeks ago finally made it. I went for chinese at lunch and was told I could not get vegetable chowmein. Apparently, you can not get that @ lunch- wtf?!?! So I left, and tried another restaurant, where they kindly made it for me; I tipped them bigtime.

    Let's see I am 53 days out and RSVPs have been flying in at least one a day so that is exciting.  Besides that wedding planning is pretty much at a stand still.  Going to work from home next two days so that will be relaxing.

    I went to Macy's today just looking for dresses (I have a wedding and a shower before my wedding, plus two showers for me). I found two great dresses, that were both on sale. One was originally 89 and on sale for 22. Plus they gave me 15% off, so two dresses, $50. Thats a great day for me.

    I feel like I have had a productive week so far : We have booked our officiant and that was proving difficult to do. We booked the DJ, I found my save the dates, invitations are slowly coming together, bought some really cool jars for the candy buffet and found my wedding dress. I have made really good use of my time off this week and still have enjoyed spending time with my mom who flew in from out of town.

    I know I'm late on this, but we had a productive day... -met with our Venue to finalize details -took care of the rehearsal dinner and details -dropped a few oot bags to one hotel -dropped our cake top off -almost finished placecards ...only 10 days to go!
