I going to suck it up and do B-pics!

I'm excited and nervous all at the same time! But, I know FI will love them! So now the issue I'm having is where to have them done. I was thinking a nice hotel room with a nice looking head board but I don't know what hotels are nice around here. Any ideas? I could do them at home but then I have to figure a way to get FI out of the house! Hmmm.....Also, any girls that have done them in a hotel room what do you say when you book the room? Do hotels let you just rent the room and charge hourly for photo shoots? I'd say I just need it for maybe 2 hours.Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I was gonna do them at the Curtis Hotel in Denver, I know a few knottie's did the b-pic party with Real Photography and that is where they had it. The photographer I was talking to about doing them suggested either making a girls night out of it (go out around town and then come back to the hotel for the evening) or just calling the hotel and asking them if you can reserve the room for a couple of hours in the middle of the day so they can still sell the hotel room for the night. HTH!

Who is your photog Brit?  When we did mine the photographer booked the room and said it was for a photo shoot.  You might even be able to book a nice suite if it's just for a few hours for cheap.  We did ours at the Curtis Hotel.  Jet Hotel is also really nice, more modern.  There is a suite there where you could do some cool outdoors shots on the deck if you felt daring.

Good idea Lotus, I wouldn't have thought of that.My photograher is Kim with Brink Street Photography, she did our e-pics. She's still pretty new so I think I'm her first b-pic client! I'll look into both of those hotels!

I would try for the Jet. I love their rooms. Did mine at the Curtis with all the other b-party girls.

I work for Marriott and get discounts at different Marriott's around town.  I just booked one of them and I loved how the pics came out.  I think if you have a good photog, they can make any space look awesome.  If you want examplesfrom my shoot, I have some pics posted in my married bio. Also, after the shoot, I used the hotel for me and DH.  I just told him I had booked it as a suprise night out for the two of us, and we had a great downtown date night.  He's not the type that would get suspicious about that kinda thing though, so I didn't have anything to worry about. I hope you have a blast!  I had sooo much fun doing mine :)  I would suggest having a glass or two (or three haha) of wine.. it really helped me loosen up.

I need to do those too!! I was thinking that maybe that would be a good valentine's day gift. I would think that the Curtis would have pretty rooms for b-pics. I have no clue about how they would rent that out to you though. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton on our wedding night and the rooms were AMAZING. So you could look there too. Who is doing them?

Katylady-My photographer is Kim Rodgers with Brink Street Photography. She's still pretty new.I've called the Curtis Hotel and Jet but both are suppose to be getting back to me today. If anything I guess I could just do them in my own house but thought it would be nicer in a hotel room.
