Still haven't found the perfect place!!

Sorry I haven't been on in awhile.. work has been crazy busy! Well I still have not found a place I am settling for... since my fiancee and I are paying for everything I don't want to wast a lot of money. I need a place that is $1500 or less nothing too special, I just need the place and them to have the tables and chairs. We really want something kinda outdoors we love the nature.. I have looked at some vineyards and I am still looking at some more but I am running out of options.. any ideas??? I already have the photographer, caterer, cake designer, dj, dress, and I am doing the flowers and decorations... any have ideas?? I am getting desperate! Thanks Ladies!

I'm getting married at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown OKC. Their prices are great and they allow outside catoring which was a huge plus for me. Check out their website.

I put an original deposit down on Festivities in El Reno.  I LOVED the venue!  But, a few months later, I decided that the 45-hour long drive from Weatherford wasn't the best choice so we found somewhere else.  Their place is fabulous though.  www.festivitieseventcenter.com

Also, try golf courses. Cobblestone Creek in Norman. I think it was like $900 or something like that and GORGEOUS!! You can get married outside next to the golf course.

I've been to several in the El Reno Festivities Center and it was definitely beautiful, but both of the weddings were so hot! There is very little shade for guests.

I am getting married at Festivities! It sounds just like what you are looking for! There is an outside area for the ceremony and indoor room for reception.  I think I am only paying $1,200 in total. They only provide tables and chairs. everything else is up to you but they are very willing to work with you. you should call them!

Thanks ladies! I looked at the festivities place and they didn't have our date open but I guess we can always change it. I'll have to check out the myriad gardens again too. I never thought of the golf course cause I just assumed they were really expensive! Choctaw park, is there a website for that by any chance??

Hmm I don't think that there is a website. =/ but I work as a camp counselor in the summer, and they have weddings down in Choctaw Park near the new pavillion and they look gorgeous! =) Probably just contacting the city of Choctaw would be the way to go.
