Alterations

I am in need of some place does dress alterations at a good price! I have yet to do the alterations on my dress but I am worried since it is made out of lace and needs to be taken in quite a bit! Does any one know of a good place?

Hilda at the Wedding Bell does a great job, but can be pricey.

Silver Thread Shoppe on Lake Lansing Road has gotten good reviews, as has Sandies Tailoring in Okemos.

    HTH.

Hilda is hands down simply amazing. She did wonders with my dress and I'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

When you say she can get pricey, what kind of price range are we talking? The Wedding Bell is very close to where I live, so it would be super convenient.

My DD's dress needs to be taken in and needs a bustle and is $270.  She didn't need a hem of any sort.

On the other hand she is having a bridesmaids dress taken in (yes her pre wedding diet has paid off Smile) and hemmed for $48.

Hilda does do an amazing job and if she is in your budget, I highly recommend her.
