Thankful for: my job, my DH, my house (even if we will never be finished remodeling) and OscarVent: My neighbors next door have "building" the most ghetto carport for the last 3 months and its still not done. I am so tired of having to look at the nasty thing everyday. Either finish it or use it for firewood. How has the city not noticed it yet?! I am pretty sure they dont even have a permit for it.My other vent is that I think I am turning into an old lady. See previous vent for reference.

thankful: for pretty much everything today. i would call the city amber, but i would personally do it anonymously because it would make things awkward if they ever found out it was you.

Thankful: my DH, where I live, that I have a job, my family. Vent: UGH.  This job (although I'm lucky to have it) just kills me sometimes.  DH has been under the weather for over a week and I miss "him".  PLus, it's been too hot to cuddle.  I'm a cuddler.  oh, and I have a ton of school work.  This MBA program needs to be over, stat.

Can I call the city and not have my neighbor know it was me? I dont want them to know because I have already complained to the city about them for something else :P

hahaha so you already know how then? did they ask for a name last time? just tell them you want to do it anonymously. it upsets me when people think they can do whatever they want without consideration for their neighbors.. most of our neighbors are considerate (we have an HOA though) except one neighbor and it boggles my mind why they think they are above it.

I didnt end up having to file anything with the city because it ended up being Edison. They have these huge nasty trees in their backyard that they NEVER trim. So they hang in all the surrounding neighbors yard so we all finally decided to complain about it. I went through Edison because the trees were so bad that they were hanging on the power lines and if that thing snapped it would have gone on our pool

Neighbors are so lovely!!  When we went to the neighbors house for the BBQ we saw the people next to them had built some wooden monstrosity off the side of the house.  It looked hideous!

Thankful: my family, my friends, my DH, our health, or furbabies, my job, our apartment. Vent: i have nothing to do! with the wedding over and no school, i am in serious need of a project. i am going stir crazy. lol   ok... want to hear about horrendous neighbors? We live on the bottom floor, which is perfect. Our dogs wrestle a lot, so its best for us to live on the bottom. Plus, we never hear the people above us, and our patio is the biggest. Since it is the biggest, it sticks out further than the one above us. Everyone once in awhile the guy who lives up there will drop a bottle cap, or something silly like that. no big deal. Well... the other night, i SWEAR he peed off of his patio onto ours. I am guessing he was aiming for the bushes, but we have little metal pots, and he made it into the pot. DH talked to him, and he said it wasnt pee... but i am pretty positive it was. GROSS!!!
