    This isn't funny. Not with all the things that happened at the mall a year or so ago....

    Everyone knows what happened at Town Centre maybe about two or so years ago? This is eerily similar... I'm starting to wonder if the guy is back.

    my friend's husband was the police officer who found the body of the mom and girl at towncenter - the media said it was a suspected serial killer right? creepy regardless.

    Scary. Ladies please be careful. I know I tend to be too polite to strangers and need to remember to ignore them.
    TTC since May 2011 "Natural" BFP 1/2/2012 with cp 1/5/2012 5/2012: SA and CD 3 bloodwork perfect 6/2012: Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN 8/2012: HSG all clear. Clomid TI cycle canceled due to thin lining 9/2012: Lap and Hysteroscopy: mild endo, uterine fibroids and septum, and ovarian cyst all removed

    Alissa - yeah. and apparently the guy pulled a similar scheme from what I understand. And I hate to stereotype, but I do believe he was Hispanic as well. :\That mall was safer when it was crappy!

    That is very scary.  This is why I'm so paranoid!On a related note, a cousin of mine (male) was at a Kmart last year and he noticed some guys following him as he was walking to his car.  When he reached his car, he pressed the button to unlock the door.  Unforunately, he pressed it twice and all of the doors were unlocked.  As he got in the car, the other men got in as well and held him up right there.I wish my car had the option to unlock the driver's door only and not all four.

    And, most people will let you know from inside their car that something's wrong with your car.  Like they'll honk, point, and roll down the window to try to tell you, or flash their lights or something.

    wow. Luckily my car only unlocks the drivers door when I press the button once on the key thing. I make sure I do this at gas stations since my purse is always on the passengers side. But if someone is coming to you, just drive off. I've done that before, with people that ask for money on the street. Once, this guy instead of just walking away, came up to my door and reached down. I figured he was reaching for the handle so I just took the red and sped off. at that point I could care less if i got a ticket.Be safe ladies!!

    Wow! Be careful ladies. My friend sent me an email about those people who pass out flyers out in the street. The story goes, that a man was passing out flyers that he paints houses. The man had actually targeted women. The trick/ lure was the flyer was actually covered with some liquid that can actually knock you out. One woman actually took one of those flyers. She started to feel dizzy and also noticed that she was being Followed by a white van. The woman was lucky enough to pull into a public and populated location and called 911. This lady got really lucky! Ever since I read that email I never took another flyer ever again. Ladies be careful!

    Funny story, no really - I promise. FI and I were living in Otown, and I always work early early AMs. One morning at 5:00am I walked outside our apartment and to my car. I didn't notice at first but there was a blue van just over at the next building. As I walked to my car he slowly came up to me and parked his van so it was nearly impossible for me to get out. When I was in my car he got out. He was dress in a sweat shirt witht he hood covering his head. I cranked my car on, was within CMs of hitting this dudes van, and drove off.Turns out he was just delivering the new papers.
