Escort Card Help!

So, do I need to write everyone's names on separate cards or can I group parties together??  Also, what age group sits at a kid's table and what age group sits at a table with their parents?  And if I have 2 or 3 year olds, do they have their own seats or sit on parents lap, or do I have to find a booster seat?  I literally have no idea!

I am having a separate card for each person, because we have 3 meal choices so we will designate meal choices for the wait staff on our place cards.  We do not have "kids" tables, but we only have 7 kids coming.  A 2 or 3 year old should have a high chair or some type of chair, but should not sit on their parent's lap.  We will have one 9 month old and are not doing a chair for him, but otherwise they are getting some type of high chair provided by the venue.  I would ask your venue what type of chairs are available- they should have something suitable for a toddler.  HTH!

I think we will have one placecard for each person.  However, I was at a wedding last weekend and each couple had one placecard, and there were two dots on it for the meals they chose.  No couple at our table had a difficult time knowing which person ordered which meal.  So, in either way is really fine.
As for the kids, I would definitely have a seat for a 2 year old.
We are having nine kids at our wedding (youngest is 5) and they'll be at their own table.
  • I am also having a separate card for each person since each has to show the person's meal choice.  We have a couple of kids coming to our wedding, but they are all close to age 3 or older so I was planning on giving them their own seat :)

  • we're doing a buffet and only doing table assignments so guests will have seats with their whole party.

i'm putting a whole family on an escort card, for example Mrs & Mrs. John Doe & family.   or for the guests: Ms. Jane Doe & Guest  of course I'll put the guests name if I know who it is.

we have 7 kids under the age of 3.. i still need to figure out what we're going to do about that.  i'm going to ask our reception coordinator if they have high chairs/booster seats for the kids.
