Invitation Envelopes

Which do y'all prefer: square flap or regular pointy ones? Is one the more formal option? Just curious, trying to decide!

I did square flap because it was cheaper on Cards and Pockets. I don't really think guests will care so that's what I went. It doesn't really matter to me haha

I had to go back to look at what ours are. They're pointy. I don't think it really matters.

I think it just depends on what you prefer and what goes with what you're doing.

We used pointed Euro flaps for our STDs because it worked better with my circle embossed monogram return address.

I'm pretty sure our invitations have squared envelope flaps.

I did pointy ones on Cards and Pockets because they come in all the colors.

Honestly though, I wouldn've done the square ones if they came in the colors. I don't think they look cheaper or anything.

I think mine are pointy. I just used whichever ones came with my Vistaprint Extra-large postcard invitations. I would never notice something like this as a guest.
