Location with a view

My fiance and I absolutely love the Sandia Mountains and we want to include them in our big day somehow - either as the backdrop for the ceremony or the view at the reception.  We have looked at Sandia Casino, but it is a bit pricey.  I've also heard that Tanoan has mountain views.  Can anyone tell me about their experiences with either venue or does anyone know of any other locations with a great view?  Thanks for your help!

Four Hills Country Club has a pretty good view of the mountains and the place where I'm having my reception, the Mountain View Club on Kirtland, has a nice one too. For the Mountain View Club I think you need to have someone from the military or retired military to sponsor you. I've never been to a wedding reception at Tanoan but I have been to a few tennis banquets there and the food was alright, nothing super spectacular but nothing that was awful either. It looks like it would be pretty easy to decorate and the view is lovely.

I had my ceremony at Tanoan and I absolutely loved it.  First off, it was WAY more affordable than anywhere else we looked, everyone was pretty good to work with (granted, we did go through 3 coordinators over the course of our 15 month engagement) and it was just amazingly beautiful.  We had the ceremony on the east balcony so I came up a set of stairs and then walked down the aisle.  We also got amazing pictures...I'll try and post some soon.
Damn you Nest for screwing up my siggy!

We are having ours at 4 hills and the view is great, that is why we chose it. every other venue we looked at had a view of the freeway:)

I second checking out Prarie Star, the views are amazing and VERY reasonably priced.  We wouldv'e booked there but, there's no hotel on site for our open bar guests to spill into and the reception space maxes out at 125. Good luck!

I had my reception at Sandia and our pictures turned out great with the Sandias and the sunset in the background. A tanoan reception is pricey at about 100 dollars a plate. I though the wedding coordinator at Prairie Star was very rude when we met with here, and unless you have an outdoor reception the indoor space is rather small, but good views of the mountain.

Thank you all for your suggestions!  I think that we are going to go with Tanoan.  Duffinger, if you have pictures, I would love to see them!
