Do any hotels say yes to outside vendors?

I have heard no alot about outside catering bring in food.  They request you use in room dining...Masterpiece says they do it all the time and does the hotel really pay attention to people bringing stuff in?We are thinking of using  Bellagio.

I have heard the same thing from vendors and past knotties.  I think, based on what I've heard, that there are some hotels that "turn the blind eye" and others that don't.  For example, I have yet to hear of anyone who has had a problem with PH or MB.  However, the Wynn, MGM and Bellagio are ones that most people regard as being difficult or vigilant.I can't say for sure about the difficult ones, since most people will opt for the ones with the easy rep, because whp realy wants to find out the hard way on their wedding day?

when i first joined the knot, there was a bride that had security shut down her party for bringing in outside food, etc. but i do not remember what hotel it was or the bride.mandalay bay has told us no problem...i didn't ask at ph. we didn't want referred to their catering dept. but i have seen plenty of brides do it, so am not worried.
