I NEED HELP =((

Im trying to get my weddnig planned by OCT and I have no idea what Im doing and no one to help me! =((  It's making everything horrible.  I know we are getting married at the country club here, but the colors inside are similiar to hotel colors; very multi and dark..  so whats a good color for me to use in my wedding so we dont clash??  I want the pics to turn out great.  I'll have 2 bridesmaids and my fiance has 2 of his buddies in the wedding also.  But I have no clue how to coordinate color in with the girls AND guys to make everything look nice.  I have my dress though, thats a plus.  Would a cappacino-ish color look good??  Maybe a little lighter color?  If so how do I make that look nice between the 2 (guys and girls)?  What else to I need to make my wedding a success?  Ive never even been to a wedding!!  Im so lost. =..(  All I have is the place, the dress, and I know where Im getting my cake.. and 2 months to go! Will someone please help me??

I need help with the little things to tie it all together, I like the rustic country look.  I love crosses and candles..  I have no decoration at all...seriously, none, not even an idea of how to put it together.  I do have a photographer and the food and drinks also, plus the guestlist is done too.  The reception will be at the same place.  How exactly does the wedding go itself anyway..  ceremony straight to reception?  Anything before, inbetween, after?

Heres the place we are getting married www.kcgcc.com and my dress www.maggiesottero.com then type in "poppy" to find it.  People are saying hire someone to do it for me, but I am on a budget, and after paying for the place and the dress its kinda tight.

I've actually been to a wedding reception here!  It's very pretty and not much needs to be done to it to decorate it.  The wedding I went to there used different sized glass vases and put limes in them with floating candles and ribbon around the vase.  Very easy, very inexpensive, and looked nice.

Wow, thats awesome!  I actually thought about something similiar to that..  using lemons in the bottoms of large vases with pink flowers.. then the green stems made it look really pretty..  i saw it in a magazine. =))

Well, I know in between our ceremony and reception, We're going to have a cocktail hour. they are both going to be held in the same place so while we will be taking pictures our guests can go up and have hour d'oeuvres and a cocktails for an hour while we're doing the pictures. So, that is an option if that can work for you. As far as center pieces like the above post suggested candles look gorgeous and are very inexpensive. Hmm, I am going to see if I can look up some pictures of center pieces you can use. Also, Monica08 has wonderful inexpensive DIY profects you can definately use on her page.

First of all I just wanted to say that I love your venue and that your dress is gorgeous. You certainly have a lot to do still, but I think if you work hard it can be done.As far as colors go, it does look like that site doesn't need much in the way of decorations. It's already really pretty as it is. I think a cappacino color would be pretty, or you could do champagne if you prefer a lighter look. A darker color like navy or plum would be really nice with the champagne. Take your bridesmaids to David's Bridal or Alfred Angelo and have them look through some dresses. I'm not sure if there's enough time to order anything, so you might have to shop off the rack. I would do that ASAP though so if they need any alterations they don't have to pay a rush charge (I had to do this for a wedding and it was ridiculous). You might have to settle for them to not have matching dresses since they'll be off the rack, but I wouldn't worry about it. It's fun that way anyway. To tie in with the guys, just have them wear a tie in the matching color if you want. They really don't have to match the bridesmaids though if that's too hard. Just any color that you think looks good on them.Like other girls mentioned, a good centerpiece is one with a vase with flowers, water, candles, ribbon, etc. Just something simple. And don't underestimate the use of candles. They make everything look super classy and beautiful and will go with any decor. Try looking on craigslist or get coupons to Hobby Lobby/Michael's to get good prices on candles. You don't have to use real flowers for the centerpieces either, since that adds a lot to the cost. If you still need a florist for your bouquets/bouts, I recommend Eden's Echo. Erin is amazing and will try to work within your budget.I can also give you some recommendations for cakes and DJs too if you need those. Just let us know what you need help on and we'll try to help! Good luck!
