Hey there, I am not Jewish, so figured you might be able to help me out with this question.... I received $236 as a gift at my wedding. Is there a significance to this number?

    Oh, the reason why I ask is that I thought I heard somewhere that certain #s were significant in Judaism and the couple happens to be Jewish.

    Yupyou got $200 plus "double chai" Chai (life) is 18 -- so double chai is double luck and life = $36. Hth! :)
