Budget Bridal

Has anyone worked with Budget Bridal before?  These ladies talked a big talk, but haven't yet been able to deliver.  The forgot about a tasting appointment (I called them from their empty storefront one Saturday morning) and are not good at returning emails or phone calls.  My wedding is in two months and I was so nervous that I booked other vendors to do my cake and flowers (by the way, Precious Petals is AMAZING!).  Now I am nervous to ask them for a return on my deposit although I think that I deserve it!  Two months away and no cake tasting or follow up phone call to reschedule?!  Am I crazy to ask for the refund?  Should I just ask for half of the refund?  We only met for 30 minutes and I don't feel that they deserve the $250.  Let me know what you think!  Thanks!!!

If they're not living up to their end of the deal ask for a refund absolutely!

You deserve your refund!! Dont be nervous to ask for it! Youre not the one that didnt hold up to your part of the deal!

A friend of mine worked with them and had no problems. I'm not sure what to tell you but you could definitely ask for a refund since it doesn't hurt. Check your contract that you got from them to see if there is anything on it that states the deposit is not refundable. If it doesn't say so then ask.

I'm getting my flowers done by them and didn't have issues with email or my meeting. I do know that one of the girls is pregnant that works there so I wonder if some sort of emergency happened. They are two sisters working together so I'm not sure if that could be the case.
