Astyla or Park Ave -Raves/Rants?

I am ready to buy "THE" dress (yea!). Astyla in Iselin and Park Ave in Vernona both have it. Any raves or rants about either? How about their seamstresses?I had an equally pleasant experience in both shops. I read some online reviews for Park Ave, but there is not much available on Astyla. Both have good ratings with the BBB. Wedding is in March so I'm a little tight on time -want to make sure I am working with the best shop. Thanks!!!

Don't know anything about either shop, but is there a difference in price?

Price is close in both shops (Park Ave is a few $ more), but i would be willing to pay if they are better to work with. Also, both locations are equal distance for me.

i got my dress from park avenue and i have a friend who got hers there too. so far, i love them. and i know my friend had a good experience too (she tried dresses on when she was 9 months pregnant... they were able to find a style they thought would look amazing on her a few months after having her child and they did a great job. they rushed the order and did alterations in under 3 months. hope this helps! what does the dress look like?

The only thing I know about Park Avenue Bridal is when I went there they had a flat fee for alterations that seemed a bit high regardless of how much work it needed, but I don't remember what it was and I don't think it included the bustle which was another high fee.  I could be a little off though so I I would check out if there are any "hidden" charges.

I got my dress from Park Ave and so far they have been wonderful to work with. I keep having second thoughts about my dress so I went back to look at it again and Patty was very patient with me.I have had a great experience so far!

I have been to Park Avenue twice now and have loved them each time!  I am working with Ginny, she is great :)I went to Cinderealla Bridal today, I had a terrible experience (service wise) which made me love Park Avenue even more!

I have gotten bridesmaids dresses and prom dresses from park ave, both times got charged a lot of unexpected extra fees on top of the X fee for alterations. Personally I thought the owners were very difficult to deal with, but aside from the $$ I never had a problem with the actual dress.  If park ave has  a flat rate for bridal alterations as indicated by previous posts above I suggest asking them exactly what is/isn't included.  congrats on finding the dress!
