  I have not personally been there, but my brother went there for his honeymoon and loved it.  He and my sister-in-law raved about the food and they are actually planning on going back in the future.  I also had a friend go there for her honeymoon last year and they really enjoyed it as well.  I don't know all the excursions they did but I know they did horseback riding and had a great time.

  I went to the resort at Playa Mujeres, and everything was amazing!
  
  The only thing negative I hear about PC is taht the beach isn't all that great, but the resort is FANTASTIC. We plan to go to PC in February, excellence resorts are AMAZING and you will love it. To be honest, we didn't go on the beach for more then a half hour, maybe 3 days out of the 10 we were there, because the resort/pools were so nice.

  I went there a few years ago when it was still Secrets before Excellence took over. It was great then! We didn't do any excursions, but had plenty to do inside the resort. The food was also good and the rooms were nice. Some of us had swim out rooms and others had rooms where you had a little patio then walked about 10 feet down a path to the pools edge. My future sister-in-law is a travel agent and recommended it. We're considering going back! Hope this helps...
