Gimme Some Sugar Bakery...

I have looking around since I have not been completely set on who I want to use for our cake and I ran across Gimme Some Sugar, they were great to talk to when I called and if you have FB you can see some of there amazing cakes! Also, they offer a DIY at home cake tasting....Not sure if they are "the one" but I was really interested in what I saw....

Any opinions....

    Thanks. I'll probably order my cake from Ricardo's but I still need some inspiration on the design.

    I'm actually going to taste cakes there in January! I saw the DIY cake tasting but we've already booked a trip to go out there anyways. If you purchase that let me know what you think.

    I am trying to decide if I want to wait to try it, because we are trying to plan a trip out there soon, and we are in CA so it is not to far, but the convience of the DIY and having it done! is so tempting...Are you going for the MB Bridal Show?

    Wow, those cakes are amazing and they look tasty!
    I'll be in Vegas in a few weeks after the holidays. Might be a good idea to book.

    This may be a silly question but is there a cost to do a cake tasting?

    Humm...I know that Cake Designs does and you need to order early, Freeds no, and I think these guys include it (Check the web site??) , unless you do the DIY

    We're getting our wedding cake through the dinner venue (Rumjungle), but after seeing the cakes on their website, I'm thinking of getting one for FI's birthday next month.

    My DIY cake tasting kit is going to be delivered to me tomorrow.  I will let you know what I think.

    I am SO excited about this bakery!  Their cakes DO look amazing (and I follow them on Facebook as well) and I think their at-home cake tasting is awesome.

    I'll be going to the MB bridal show in January, and I spoke to GSS bakery and they said they will definitely have some cakes to taste there.

    I just shared my DIY kit with the girls in my office and everyone was very impressed.  I ordered some of the deluxe cake combinations and the popular vote for flavor went to the lucious lemonberry.
