    I have never been to the Carltun, but I went to a FANTASTIC wedding at Carlysle on the Green.  It was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the grounds are GORGEOUS!  I wasn't in love with the lobby and common-area type spaces (furnishings were too old-fashioned for me), but the ballroom where the reception was held was AMAZING.

    I've been to weddings at both venues (more than once). They're both beautiful but in my opinion the Carltun is one step above! Amazing food and decor... good luck!
