Wynn or Mandalay Bay?

Hello Ladies!I am trying to decide between the Wynn and Mandalay Bay for my wedding site.  Does anyone have any experience attending a wedding at the Wynn?  I've heard great things about Mandalay Bay, but not that much about Wynn.Thanks!

    Check out atlcatlvr's married bio. She got married there and loved it. Check out the LV Knottie List too for other reviews from the Wynn.

    I was originally booked at Mandalay Bay and then changed it to the Wynn.  I thought the service at Mandalay Bay was fantastic and I really love the resort as a whole...but there were things that swayed us towards the Wynn... 1)  After major consideration and reception venue shopping - we decided to have our reception at Maggiano's.  Since they are on opposite ends of the Strip...we felt we should push our wedding closer to the north end.  Some brides have their wedding at Mandalay and reception at Maggiano's...but we, personally, didn't want to worry/organize transportation for our guest list (240)  NOTE - only 115 attended...but even that was more than I wanted to coordinate or worry about. 2)  The Wynn will only have one wedding at a time.  At Mandalay Bay, there could be 3 weddings at once...we thought it was more intimate and liked being the only "priority" for an hour.3)  The Wynn was sort of in line with our eventual color scheme, lol...Again - you'll find a review of MB in my bio because I was VERY happy with them in the beginning.  The major kicker was the reception location.  I have no bad things to say about Mandalay!  :-)We had an AMAZING experience at the Wynn...just AMAZING.  We are so happy that we changed it to the Wynn and wouldn’t have had it any other way.  Customer services was unbelievable, everything was so romantic and beautiful – just perfect!  It was the best day of our lives and honestly…the Wynn aided in that!  Cabriole (or wedding consultant) was superb…we just had the best time and LOVED LOVED LOVED that we chose the Wynn! Reviews and pics in wedding bio.HTH!  Sorry for the long post!  It's hard to choose between the two...but we were happy we chose the Wynn!

    And I will echo one thing Ashley said - the main reason we chose the Wynn was because they only do one wedding at a time.  At other locations if they have multiple ceremony locations they can all be busy simultaneously.  I felt more comfortable knowing we had the undivided attention of the staff during our time.And in the end the customer service was above and beyond anything I've ever experienced.  Everyone there was beyond my expectations, and truly made me feel like my wedding was as important to them as it was to me.  I just can't say enough good things about them.

    I 100% agree with Ashley and atlcatlover, we just loved the Wynn, everything from being a guest of the hotel to having our wedding there was perfect, they bent over backwards for us.  My bio has pics, reviews and a report of our entire trip if you enjoy reading!!

    Since I have not had my wedding at Mandalay Bay yet, I can only say soooooo far.....I have had nothing but positive vibes so far and I really have enjoyed working with my cordinator :)

    I went the opposite way as the girls above. I originally booked at the Wynn because I loved their outdoor garden and their customer service was fantastic. Although after looking at packages we decided that the MB was a better bang for our buck. Plus it is a little closer to our reception venue. Their customer service has been great too! I think that both of the venues are awesome. I do wish that MB only did one wedding at a time like the Wynn though. Good Luck!

    I'm getting married at the Wynn and have had nothing but the best things to say about them.. From the wedding coordinators (kabbie - the greatest chick on earth) to Renee, my catering coord.  I'm nothing but happy-happy with them!My girlfriends and I were recently there, we had a problem getting a late check out (sold-out weekend), Kabbie took care of it in 2 minutes.  Amazing!
