Mind posting your floral cost/budget? ++

I am toying with the idea of having mostly non-floral centerpieces, like wheatgrass and *some* small flowers around the wheatgrass. If I find a gorgeous non-floral centerpiece style that I like, I'll go with that. Can you tell me what your cost of flowers were/are?If you are doing non-floral, can you post your ideas? TIA!!

lilbit -can you email what is included in your proposal with dalsimer.  They are on our list of florists to look at.  rosel80@bellsouth.net  They are not one of the preferred vendors but I saw their work at a bridal show and just loved it!

I had 3 proposals: 6K, 4K and 2.5K for ceremony and 16 reception centerpieces.  After addressing the budget factor, the first two did come down quite a bit to a "happy medium" and the third is in our budget. If your looking for someone in palm beach county, send me an email   daynaandjoel @ hotmail.com

I DIYed mine and spend $420 in flowers and another $100 in glassware and candles.I had enough for 14 centerpieces, 6 large arrangements, 2 bouquets, 6 corsages, and 3 bouts, and a fair amount of candles, rose petals, and loose orchids everywhere.

I paid $880 for florals, delivery and set-up. I had no decor at the ceremony. At the reception it was solely the centerpieces and I had all the materials needed minus flowers. Then I had the following bouquets: bridal, tossing, 3BM. 9 boutonnieres and 3 coursages. GL!

I am paying $2400 for flowers...that is based on 10 bridesmaid bouquets, my bouquet (all calla lillies) - 12 boutonnieres, rose petals everywhere and 18 centerpieces (half calla lillies, half submerged orchids and calla lillies) - other flowers too..OH, and we're using 6 centerpieces as ceremony decorations! :)
