Engaged 3/27/12 Helicopter Proposal!!
My fiance and I live outside of NYC. We had plans to go out for dinner in the city for our anniversary on 3/27. On the way into the city, he told me he had a surprise for me. Next thing I know, he was pulling into the Heliport parking lot to park.
We took a Helicopter tour around NYC... (Throughout our relationship, we have shared alot of great memories in the city) When we were flying over Central Park he said to me "wow, look at the park...." I looked. Turned back to him, and he had the ring box open and said "will you marry me?"
We had been talking a lot about getting married.. and I knew the proposal was coming soon. But, I was overwhelmed by it all. The ring was stunning. Totally exceeded my expectations. It was such an amazing moment...
We then went out to celebrate in the city. When I told my sister in law about the proposal she joked "helicopter tour?? are you on the bachelor? did you accept the final rose?" haha...
That's my story.
