Maybe a Wedding?

Ok so just an update...hes been going to counseling for a month now and its going good for him. I have not put the ring back on but if he keeps going to counseling for awhile the we go as a couple I think we might just have a small wedding with close friends and family.Recap: He woke up and told me he was not ready to get married and after I asked if we were breaking up and he said I guess I moved out. The next day talked to me with big puppy dog filled with tears eyes saying he messed up. I told him he either goes to counseling and gets help or I find someone else.

    Glad to hear its going well.  Ensure you give him and the relationship time to heal and grow and take it a day at a time!

    Glad to hear things are going well. It's encouraging that he jumped into counseling right away, so it's apparant he's trying. Do you want a small wedding with close friends and family? If you do, that's great. But if you're choosing that based on the current situation, I would considering waiting a little longer until things are 100% between you and FI and doing what you want. I guess I feel like if any hesitation on FI's part is causing you to change things around, that'd make me a little nervous. BUT if that's what you've wanted all along, then by all means have a small, intimate wedding. I just can't remember what you originally were planning. Hope that makes sense. Glad to hear the improvement!!
