Since I'm procrastinating on unpacking from the honeymoon, I figured I may as well get my vendor reviews done. Hope it helps you ladies! Orange Park Country Club- This is where we had our reception. I cannot say enough good things about them! They get a huge A++ from me. Nick, the catering manager was amazing from the first day we met with him. He gave suggestions, but always said they would do whatever we wanted. The answer to any question I had was "Absolutely. We can do that." At the reception, he 100% delivered. They let my mom in at 630am the day of the wedding to decorate and even provided breakfast for her and the other family members that helped. When someone brought an unexpected guest, he had an extra chair and place setting brought to the table before we could think twice about it. The appetizers were getting low and my mom mentioned something to him. Before you knew it, the table was full again. When DH and I went to get our salad and dinner (buffet), he personally took our salad plates and brought them to our table for us. He also threw in little extras for us along the way. Tonya Beaver Photography- Tonya was great also. We had to try a couple times before we could get our E-pics done because of rain and had to change our original location, but once we got them done, we loved them. She was pretty quick to answer most of my emails along the way. We havent seen any wedding pictures yet, but I feel like they turned out great. DH and I both have kind of odd family structures, but she got all the family pics we wanted no problem. She brings a second photographer to the wedding. The only thing I wasnt happy about is that she dissapeared close to the end of the reception. I know I dont need a whole bunch of party pics, but there were definitely some funny things that she missed. Also, I forgot to mention that we decided to do an exit with bubbles, so she left right before we did, so we have no limo pictures and no exit pictures, which kinda sucks. I would recommend her though- just mention exactly what you want to her. I'm sure if I had said something, she would have taken those. Sallys Roses 2- We used Sallys for all the bouquets, bouts, and ordered a few dozen loose roses to make our own centerpieces. The only complaint I have is that we ordered pale yellow roses in everything and got bright yellow. However, the bright yellow looked amazing. It just popped in all the pictures! So I'm actually glad that she used those instead. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. They do have you come in the day before the wedding to approve everything, so if there is a mistake they will fix it. Mikes Limousine- They are actually based out of Tallahassee, but serve all of North Florida. I was happy with the limo- we got what we ordered, they were on time (even early to get the guys). They had champagne waiting for us after the wedding. When he dropped us off at home after the reception, he even carried everything we had in for us. Jim Sloan, Bagiper- We had a bagpiper for our processional and recessional music. I highly recommend Jim. He was super quick to answer emails, even emailing me a week before to ask if I was excited. He showed up early and we got SO many compliments on him. Davids Bridal at the Avenues- I got my dress and all my bridesmaids dresses from then. All the dresses came in early. No complaints.Alteration Location- This is where I got my dress altered. They were great and pretty low priced. The only thing is they have a few different ladies there. The lady I worked with was wonderful. However my sister went to get her BM dress taken out a bit and apparently the lady was pretty rude to her and made her cry.Honeymoon- I know we dont usually post honeymoon reviews on here, but I was so impressed with the resort we stayed at that I figured I'd mention it for anyone still looking. El Dorado Seaside Suites in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Perfection.Cake-Publix. My mom was going to make my wedding cake and decided with 2 weeks to go that she coudnt do it, so she ordered from Publix. The cake was pretty and very tasty. It did start to droop a bit though after a few hours, but probably b/c of the heat in the room. DJ Harmony- Very happy with the dj. It was 500 I think for 4 hours. She did a great job emceeing the reception and played good music. She played most of our must plays, however there was one song I told her I absolutely wanted her to play and I did not hear it played. It may have while we were outside taking pictures, but I was dissapointed about that. I would recommend her though.Mens Wearhouse- Zero issues with the tuxes.
