Our wedding cake was from there... If I remember correctly fondant is $5 a slice (I didn't see any cheaper elsewhere).  Regular frosting is $3 a slice(it gets more expensive if you want crazy details on it).  I had my heart set on fondant forever but when I found out we'd have to cut the wedding cake at the beginning of the reception I decided to go with reg frosting (they only offer whipped no buttercream) and we put the difference into passed mini ice cream cones for later in the evening.  Our cake was almond with raspberry and chocolate ganache and got rave reviews!

I've heard great things about Wild Flour! Albeit, I've had fondant cake at a wedding we attended and it was less than tasteful. We're having buttercream for ours.

our cake is 3.25 a slice from there but it is not fondant........we personally have been to weddings where everyone pulled the fondant off before they ate the actual cake so i find it a big waste of money

If you want fondant but at a lower price, I would look at Cakes by Shari.  I'm using her, and her cakes are fantastic!  Not only did it look good, but it tastes good too!  She uses white chocolate fondant so it tastes better.  I had her make a purse cake for my sister's birthday and it was covered in fondant.  It was about $2/slice.  She doing my wedding cake for about $2/slice as well and that includes her hand painting on a monogram with gold luster dust and painting little gold pearls at the bottom of every layer.  She works out of her house in Avon Lake and just loves to make cakes!  The purse she made for my sister was a copy of the Rebecca Minkoff morning after bag... some $600 purse my sis was lusting after.  When I brought in the cake, she actually thought it was the real bag!  Here are the pics on Shari's website:http://www.sharicakes.com/viewcake.php?name=Rebecca+Minkoff+Purse

Get in contact with CMYKakes! Her prices are very competitive and her fondant is awesome. I was very anti-fondant until I had her's. Now, I can't get enough of it. I'm slowly (err.. quickly...) working my way through the year's worth of cake we have in our freezer from our bottom tier! (we served Costco sheet cakes) www.cmykakes.com

Tara - I see your cake on the cmykakes website - its looks so nice!  Do  I remember correctly that you didn't serve it though, and that it's was not a  "real" cake?  Just wondering - as I want to have that same concept as I'm not thrilled with the taste of fondant - and the cakes are made way ahead of time - gross!  Anyway it's great info - as I'm looking for a baker myself.  Good luck to you sfetzer! Let us know what you find out!

I think ours was $2.75/pc from Wild Flour, but non-fondant and 2 yrs ago, and no fancy flavor, chocolate, white and marbel with Bavarian Cream and Raspberry fillings. I was just there today picking up a duplicate for our anniversary this week!
