Place Card Size

What are the dimensions of the typical place card? I'm making my own but have no idea what size to make them. Of course I could make them any size I feel like, but what's the "normal size"? Thanks!

I think you answered your own question... there aren't any "normal sizes". Of all the weddings I've been to, the place cards have ALL been different. I made mine business card size.
